Named after Sir John Jamison, a doctor and land owner, the Jamison is probably the best known of the Blue Mountains valleys, containing tourist attractions such as Echo Point, The Three Sisters, Scenic Railway etc.
The painting location is towards the Three Sisters looking in a northerly direction.
Painting size is 75cm x26cm, with a 3 : 1 ratio which is one of my favourites for panoramic subjects.
